Here are nine signs you might be dating a married man.
1. Limited Availability
If he’s only available to talk to or see you at odd hours, that’s a major warning sign. Married men often talk to you when their wife is away and disappear when she returns.
2. You’ve only seen a few friends or none at all
A cheating man is usually selective about the friends he introduces you to because he knows they know his wife and doesn’t want to reveal to them that he’s cheating. If you’ve never met his family or close friends, be wary.
3. He Never Invites You Over
If you’ve been dating a guy for a while but you’ve never been to his house and he’s never invited you over, something’s wrong. He doesn’t want you over because his wife and family are at home and you’ll see evidence of his other life.
4. You Never Spend Holidays with Him or Attend Special Events
Married men don’t often get away from their wives and families during holidays or special events. If he makes up excuses for why you never spend time together when it should matter, he doesn’t want others to know about you.
5. He pays for everything in cash
When a man likes to pay for everything in cash, it can be a sign that he has bad credit, but it can also be a sign that he doesn’t try to leave a paper trail. He doesn’t want his wife to see vacations, bar and restaurant orders on receipts or credit card statements.
6. He Takes You to Secluded Places
If you live in the same area as the guy you’re dating, but he never wants to go anywhere, and when he does, the places are lonely and secluded, something is wrong. While he may be the adventurous type and like to run away, this is a common sign that he doesn’t want to be seen with another woman.
7. Far Out in Public, Comfortable When Alone
If he’s super comfortable with you alone, but acts funny when he’s with you in public, he has something to hide. If the guy you’re dating constantly looks around like he’s uncomfortable and doesn’t want to show any affection, but is the man of your dreams behind closed doors, he’s probably worried about being seen.
8. Wedding Ring Line
This is one of the biggest gifts. If he still has his wedding ring line and hasn’t mentioned marriage once, he has something to hide. When a married man cheats, he’ll take off his ring not only because he doesn’t want a visual reminder that he’s cheating while married, but because he doesn’t want the ring to give him away.
9. Your gut tells you something is wrong
Follow your gut. If something inside you tells you he’s not being honest, you need to listen to that voice. There’s a reason why his actions aren’t adding up.
